Gibbs is a demon. If you can tolerate her presence inside of a building, you must be a demon too. There are stories of mushers breeding sled dogs with wolves. Gibbs must’ve come from a litter that was somehow crossed with a wolverine. Between her temperament and intense desire to swallow the world, it’s hard to tell that you’re looking at a dog and not that ferocious, large member of the weasel family. Behind a pair of beady, spry eyes is an intelligence, confidence, and curiosity that make Gibbs an invaluable lead dog. She can be sweet and loving, but it’s hard for her to be gentle because all she really wants is to crawl under your skin to be with you forever. When she’s not being mean to her running partner, she really is a very good girl.
