Except for the tail, there is not much difference in body type between a fat beaver and Dalzell. Before the age of two, Dalzell decided he would rather be a connoisseur of fine foods than pull a sled. Since then, he has spent his retirement as Sam’s loyal companion. After sneaking into the meat shed and hoping to be locked in and forgotten about, Dalzell’s second favorite hobby is being chased by other dogs on free-walks in games of tag until he gets out of breath.
