Nickname: The One-Eyed Rascal
Charlotte was given to Tucker by a cowboy in Montana who had originally named her Harlot. “I took her to the bar and she loved everybody, so I figured it’d be a good name,” said the cowboy. Charlotte became Tucker’s trail companion when he packed mules in Montana and remains his trustworthy partner when he skis in Alaska. While Charlotte doesn’t have an aristocratic pedigree, she’s still an Alaskan Husky and loves to pull a sled. If left to her own devices in the wild, Charlotte would survive just fine. She’s one of the best squirrel catchers you’ll ever meet and has stood down many a moose with no fear — it is in this spirit that she meets her pet insurance deductible every year and is already down to one eye.
